Parish Library
There is a growing library with books on prayer, the Bible, theology, help with questions on faith, parenting, grief and other needs, testimonies, and Christian fiction.

Healing Prayer Circle

Each day members of the Prayer Circle pray for those in our parish, or their families, who have asked for our prayers at a time of need. Many of those prayed for, testify to knowledge of being comforted, strengthened and upheld during a crisis.

On the last Tuesday of each month a Healing Service is held with prayers, laying on of hands, and anointing for those who have requested prayers.
Requests for prayers are directed to the clergy or co-ordinator Lorraine Nettleton, who then pass the requests to the Prayer Circle.

At all times we are mindful of the need for absolute confidentiality.

Study Groups

Lenten Teaching
There is a tradition of Lenten studies at St Michael’s, sometimes shared
ecumenically within the Mitcham area, sometimes by a visiting teacher, and more often taken by our own clergy.

Bible Studies
These are held on an occasional basis, the pattern changing according to need and the availability of clergy or other leaders.

Home groups
There are currently two home groups who meet for Bible study and discussion. The parish would like to see more of these small group meetings.
